Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge for your services?

I do not accept insurance at this time. Payment is due at the time of service. Below is the current fee structure:

New Patient Visit 60 minutes, $300

Follow-Up Visit 30 minutes, $150

Please note: Pricing is subject to change. I’ll always notify you ahead of time if adjustments are planned.

Do you charge for late cancellations or no-shows?

Yes. As of 07/01/2025, a No-Show or Late Cancellation fee applies for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice:

  • $150 for new patient visits

  • $75 for follow-up visits

If you are experiencing extenuating circumstances, please reach out — I understand that life happens.

How often will I need to come in?

Most patients settle into a schedule of visits every 4–6 weeks once a treatment plan is in place. Initially, visits may be more frequent depending on your needs and scheduling availability.

Can you prescribe medication or refill mine?

Yes — I can prescribe non-controlled medications related to conditions I manage, including:

  • Chronic pain

  • POTS & dysautonomia

  • Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)

However, I do not prescribe controlled substances.

Please note: You should continue to have a primary care provider for general health needs and any other medications not directly related to your care with me.

Can you fill out medical paperwork (e.g., disability, insurance, or workers’ comp)?

I’m happy to help complete forms related to conditions I’m actively managing with you. If paperwork requires significant time outside your appointment, a fee may apply — but I’ll always discuss this with you beforehand.

  • I do not complete forms for conditions I’m not treating

  • I do not accept Workers’ Compensation insurance directly, but I can provide a Superbill you may submit for reimbursement

  • I can always prepare a doctor’s note for work or school related to your visit

Is your office accessible?

Accessibility is a core value in my practice. Here are a few ways I aim to make care inclusive and supportive of diverse needs:

Disability Access

  • Wheelchair-accessible office and building

  • Fragrance-free policy to reduce chemical sensitivities

  • No overhead fluorescent lighting

  • Service animals and animals-in-training welcome

Financial Access

  • I do not accept insurance, which allows me to provide longer, more thoughtful visits and maintain the time and energy needed to give each patient my full attention.

  • I recognize that my fees are not accessible for everyone. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available. As of 06/2025, these are full, but you’re welcome to join a waitlist if needed.

Cultural Access & Inclusion

I aim to create a safer, respectful space for all patients, especially those from marginalized or historically excluded groups. I recognize the harm that the medical system has caused to many communities and strive to offer care that is trauma-informed, consent-based, and continuously evolving.

Additional Patient Considerations When Choosing a Clinic Like Mine

Patients often tell me they appreciate:

  • Extended visit times that allow for depth and listening

  • A non-rushed, collaborative healing environment

  • Care that bridges psychological insight, medical knowledge, and hands-on treatment

  • A provider who sees and treats the whole person, not just a diagnosis

If this resonates with you, I welcome you to reach out or book a visit. I'm here to help you reconnect with your body’s own healing potential — with clarity, honesty, and care.
